Season 7, Episode 44 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers win Sunday over the Cleveland Browns. Was this a no-win win for the Steelers? We discuss that very thing at the top.
David and I go through the game and talk about several induvial performances on both sides of the football as we always do. We also discuss the decision made by head coach Mike Tomlin at the end of the first half to go for the touchdown in lieu of a field goal.
Tomlin talked to the media again Monday morning so we go over the team’s injury report heading into the week 12 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Tomlin discussed wide receiver Sammie Coates again on Monday so we go over what he had to say about the young wide receiver and his lack of playing time on offense.
Linebacker Bud Dupree made his 2016 debut on Sunday and we discuss him playing just one snap in addition to the lack of playing time tight end Ladarius Green received against the Browns.
David and I spend some talking about the play of the Steelers top-two draft picks on Sunday and make sure to acknowledge linebacker James Harrison, who become the franchise sack leader on Sunday.
We make sure to hit on the other games that took place in the AFC North on Sunday and that includes us talking about key injuries in addition to whether or not the Cincinnati Bengals will fire head coach Marvin Lewis should his team fail to make the playoffs.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
