The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at Heinz Field and even though he ended the week listed as questionable with a knee injury, linebacker Ryan Shazier is good to go today, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network.
Shazier, who suffered a knee injury during the second half of the Steelers Monday night opening win over the Washington Redskins, practiced fully on Friday after being limited on Thursday and sitting out Wednesday’s practice.
Video of Shazier throughout the week on steelers.com included him moving around in practice without any limitations whatsoever. A Bengals coach told Kinkhabwala Sunday morning that they have been expecting Shazier to play against them on Sunday.
In the Steelers win over the Redskins, Shazier recorded six total tackles, an interception and a forced fumble. The Ohio State product also defended a pass in the end zone intended for Redskins tight end Jordan Reed.
