James Harrison truly has one of the most insatiable workout appetites in the NFL. Maybe in NFL history. And it should come as no surprise Deebo was back in the weight room today. He posted these two videos to his Instagram account.
Take a look.

I’m certainly not one to know exactly how impressive that mean velocity is but it sure looks pretty good to me. Someone else can testify to that.
Harrison has spent most of his offseason in Arizona, most recently joined by Ryan Shazier and Robert Golden. At 38, he’s still one of the most physically fit players on the team and arguably the league.
Jarvis Jones will continue to be the depth chart starter at right outside linebacker but it’ll be interesting to see if Jones can out-snap Harrison, something he failed to do last year. Or if Jones can become a “closer,” showing enough to be trusted in late-game situations. As we’ve pointed out previously, Harrison dominated those last-five minute snaps.
Harrison is three sacks away from owning the Steelers’ franchise sack record, 2.5 back from Jason Gildon’s 77. It’s less discussed but he is also just three forced fumbles away from tying Greg Lloyd’s career mark of 34. Since becoming a starter, Harrison has forced at least two in every season with Pittsburgh so that record, trying it at least, isn’t out of the question either.
