Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is willing to accept the car bet offered to him last night on Instagram by New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall. That is, if Marshall is serious about it.
“He don’t really wanna do that,” Brown told TMZ on Thursday before arriving in Latrobe for the start of training camp. “He just wants some PR. He too old to be doing that.
“The RR is about $100k up [from the value of the Porsche]. If he really serious, CALL ME … I’ll gladly accept. Don’t Internet it.”
The difference in the price between Marshall’s new Porsche for Brown’s custom Rolls Royce I guess can be considered the Steelers wide receiver giving the Jets wide receiver odds as Brown would easily be favored to have the most receiving yards of the two, which appears to be the terms of the bet.
If both are serious about making this bet, one would think the two would get it in writing. In the meantime, Brown will likely be waiting for a call from Marshall. I wonder if some sort of injury clause will be included as well.
The Steelers will play the Jets in Week 5 of the 2016 regular season.
