The Florida State pro day is taking place on Tuesday in Tallahassee and as expected, Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin are both present for the annual event, according to Tim Linafelt, of Seminoles.com. Linafelt also reports that he’s spotted Steelers defensive coordinator Keith Butler and defensive backs coach Carnell Lake as well.
The big draw this year for Florida State is defensive back Jalen Ramsey, who figures to be the first overall secondary player drafted this year. After having a great showing several weeks ago at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, Ramsey will more than likely only do positional drills on Monday.
During his three years at Florida State, Ramsey registered 180 total tackles, 3 interceptions and 23 passes defensed.
Kicker Roberto Aguayo, defensive tackle Nile Lawrence-Stample, linebacker Terrance Smith, linebacker Reggie Northrup, and safety Tyler Hunter are just a few of the other players who will be participating on Monday that could wind up being drafted next month.
