The Denver Broncos eliminated the Pittsburgh Steelers from the playoffs Sunday 23-16 and after the game, Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib accused Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of faking his right shoulder injury.
“Ben was healthy as hell. He didn’t fool anybody,” Talib said after the game.
Being as Roethlisberger missed most of the fourth quarter of Saturday’s AFC Wild Card game with a shoulder injury after being sacked by linebacker Vontaze Burfict, I think it’s safe to say he wasn’t faking anything. Roethlisberger ended the week listed as questionable after suffering a sprain AC joint in his right shoulder. He only practiced fully one time leading up to the game and that was on Friday
After Sunday’s game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that Roethlisberger’s injury wasn’t an issue during the contest and that the two never discussed it after the game was underway.
Talib is just a sore winner and he’s not faking that.
