Season 6, Episode 47 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I start things off by talking about the injury updates that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin provided Tuesday during his weekly press conference.
Is linebacker Ryan Shazier in jeopardy of missing yet another game? We discuss that in addition to the other injuries heading into the Sunday game against the Cleveland Browns.
We move on to talk about quarterback Landry Jones potentially making his second-career start on Sunday in addition to recapping several of the other main talking points that came out of Tomlin’s Tuesday talk with the media.
David and I are still concerned about the Steelers defense coming out of their game against the Oakland Raiders game so we spends a few minutes on that topic in addition to talking about Jacoby Jones and the team’s return game.
In the second half of this show we are joined by Tom Reed, who covers the Browns for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. We get some insight from Tom on the state of the Browns organization ahead of Sunday’s game to start with. Additionally, we talk about who may or may not play Sunday for Cleveland as well as discussing key players on both sides of the football.
