If you were hoping the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 12 Sunday afternoon road game against the Seattle Seahawks would be flexed out to later in the evening, I’ve got some bad news for you.
According to Steelers PR man Burt Lauten, the team’s Week 12 game against the Seahawks that’s scheduled to kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET will not be flexed from that original time slot and it will be broadcasted on CBS. That game, however, is the lone late national game for CBS on that Sunday so all of you should be able to watch it.
The Steelers are 6-2 following their bye weeks since head coach Mike Tomlin was hired in 2007. Last season, however, they lost 35-32 to the New Orleans Saints at home following their Week 12 bye and it served as their final regular season loss of 2014.
It should be noted, however, that the Steelers are 1-3 under Tomlin in games played in the Pacific Time zone. His lone win came earlier this season when the Steelers beat the San Diego Chargers in the team’s Week 5 Monday night game on a game-ending touchdown run by running back Le’Veon Bell as time expired.
The 4-5 Seahawks will host the 3-6 San Francisco 49ers this coming Sunday. The Seahawks lost this past Sunday night at home to the Arizona Cardinals.
