Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has left in the fourth quarter of the game against the Oakland Raiders with what looks like a left foot or ankle injury.
Roethlisberger was injured on a third down sack by Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith, who had beat left tackle Alejandro Villanueva.
Roethlisberger couldn’t put any weight on his left leg and after being helped to the sideline he was carted off to the locker room.
The Steelers currently lead the Raiders 35-28. Roethlisberger completed 24 of his 44 pass attempts in the game 335 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
Landry Jones will take over for Roethlisberger. Mike Vick did not dress Sunday.
Update: Roethlisberger will be leaving Heinz Field to be evaluated for his left foot injury.
