The Cleveland Browns may not have played a game since last Thursday, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at their first injury report of the week that was released on Wednesday.
Not practicing on Wednesday for the Browns were cornerback Joe Haden (concussion), safety Donte Whitner (concussion), guard Joel Bitonio (ankle), defensive end Randy Starks (not injury related), and tackle Joe Thomas (not injury related).
Haden and Whitner are still going through the league-mandated concussion protocol while Bitonio has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Limited on Wednesday were quarterback Josh McCown (ribs), safety Jordan Poyer (shoulder) and safety Ibraheim Campbell (hamstring). If healthy enough come Sunday, McCown will start against the Steelers.
Practicing fully on Wednesday for the Browns were wide receiver Brian Hartline (concussion), wide receiver Andrew Hawkins (concussion) and quarterback Johnny Manziel (elbow).
