Steelers Injury Report: Shazier, McCullers, Wheaton, Spaeth All Practiced Fully Again On Friday

The Pittsburgh Steelers Friday injury report is now out and it includes just one change from the one released on Thursday.

Practicing fully again on Friday were linebacker Ryan Shazier (shoulder), tight end Matt Spaeth (hand), wide receiver Markus Wheaton (ankle), nose tackle Daniel McCullers (knee) and cornerback Cortez Allen (knee). It’s still unclear as to whether or not Shazier will make it back this week after missing the Steelers last two games.

“I feel like coach he’s going to think about the decision,” Shazier said on Friday. “Whatever he feels is best for the team, he’ll make that decision. It’s all on him. I’ll do everything I have to do. I’m practicing and doing what they ask of me.”

Safety Ross Ventrone (hamstring) practice fully on Friday after being unable to practice on Thursday. As expected, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (knee) did not practice on Friday. He will not play Monday night against the San Diego Chargers.

As for wide receiver Martavis Bryant (undisclosed), there’s no word as to whether or not he practiced on Friday as he does not have to be included on the injury report because he hasn’t been reinstated to the 53 man roster as of yet. Bryant reportedly failed to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The wide receiver missed the first four games of the season due to a suspension.

According to Mike Prisuta on Friday, quarterback Mike Vick said today he’s practiced with Bryant “just one day” this week and that was on Monday.
