The Pittsburgh Steelers Tuesday injury report is now out and overall it offers up no real surprises when it comes to those who failed to participate.
Sitting out on Tuesday were quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (knee), linebacker Ryan Shazier (shoulder), nose tackle Daniel McCullers (knee) and tight end Matt Spaeth (hand).
Roethlisberger has already been ruled out for Thursday with a sprained left MCL and it’s looking like Shazier, McCullers and Spaeth are headed for that same fate as well. Shazier and McCullers both missed last week’s game with their respective injuries while Spaeth needed his hand casted on Monday after fracturing it in the game Sunday.
Limited on Tuesday was cornerback Cortez Allen (knee). He has missed the last two games with a knee injury and it’s looking like he might not play again Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens.
Linebacker James Harrison (thumb) practiced fully Tuesday after injuring his thumb in Sunday’s win over the St. Louis Rams.
