As expected, we’ll have to wait until Sunday to find out whether or not St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley will make his NFL debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Gurley, who practiced fully again on Friday, ended the week listed as questionable on the Rams injury report. Head coach Jeff Fisher told the media that Gurley would be a game-time decision. So with that, we’ll have to wait and see if Gurley is one of seven players on the Rams inactive list that will be released 90 minutes before kickoff.
Fisher said that Gurley did split first-team reps evenly in practice this week with fellow Rams running back Tre Mason.
As for the rest of the Rams injury report, running back Chase Reynolds (knee) and defensive end Eugene Sims (knee) are both listed as out after failing to practice this week.
Punter Johnny Hekker (illness) was added to the Rams injury report Friday as probable.
