Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell has a new nickname.
Bell, who set a franchise record last year with 2,215 yards from scrimmage, announced Tuesday on Twitter that head coach Mike Tomlin and his teammates have nicknamed him “juice.”
"juice"…………..that's the nickname coach T and my teammates gave me…and I really like it a lot…I needed a sweet nickname! 😉

Bell apparently likes his new nickname and although it does conjure up memories of O.J. Simpson, at least it’s better than “Delicious”, which is what Tomlin reportedly had nicknamed former running back Rashard Mendenhall several years ago.
The “Juice” won’t be loose for the Steelers until week 4 of the season assuming Bell’s suspension stays at three games following his appeal hearing, which should be taking place very soon.
Bell is currently finishing up his offseason training in Miami at Bommarito Performance Systems in preparation for the start of training camp. He is expected to be fully recovered from the right knee injury suffered in the final game of the regular season against the Cincinnati Bengals that prevented him from playing in the playoffs and Pro Bowl.
