Over the last few weeks on The Terrible Podcast, you’ve probably heard Alex Kozora and myself discussing which Pittsburgh Steelers players would make an All-AFC North Team. On Tuesday, Dave Dameshek released his such team on NFL.com and it includes seven Steelers players.
Representing the Steelers offense on Dameshek’s list are quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Antonio Brown, running back Le’Veon Bell, tight end Heath Miller and center Maurkice Pouncey.
Miller and Pouncey might be pushing the envelope just a bit when it comes to their positions, but you could present a good argument that both belong on the All-AFC North Team just the same.
Defensively, Dameshek has defensive end Cameron Heyward and linebacker Lawrence Timmons both representing the Steelers and I’m totally on board with those two choices.
The Baltimore Ravens had the most players represented on Dameshek’s All-AFC North Team with 10 in total. The Cincinnati Bengals had four on the list while the Cleveland Browns only had three players selected by Dameshek.
