It’s been three months since former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis was measured for his Hall of Fame bust and on Saturday he checked in with the progress of it and even shared pictures of it as it was being carved.
It is believed that Blair Buswell is doing the bust sculpting again this year as he was the one that measured Bettis several months ago. Buswell has been doing the bust sculpting for over 30 years.
It’s interesting to see the progress that was made over the course of seven hours and I’m guessing that Bettis had to sit and pose for most of that time.
Bettis will get to see his finished bronzed bust when he is officially inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, August, 8. The following day the Steelers will play the Minnesota Vikings in the annual Hall of Fame game to kickoff the 2015 preseason.
