Today is Memorial Day and it is important that we remember and give thanks to those who gave their lives in defense of our great country in addition to those who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces.
The sacrifices made by these great men and women give us all the ability to speak our minds freely. We are also provided the opportunity to both succeed and fail in this great country of ours thanks to the service of others.
On this day, please do not take your freedoms lightly as a lot of blood has been spilled in order for you to have them. Take time out today to personally thank a veteran in addition to those who have served or are currently serving.
