The Pittsburgh Steelers have made one front office move today, adding former New Orleans’ Saints College Scouting Director Rick ReiPrish to its personnel department. The move was first announced by The Pittsburgh Post Gazette’s Ed Bouchette.

ReiPrish was let go by the Saints in January, during the week of the Senior Bowl, after working with the club for eleven seasons.
At the time, he seemed to take the firing in stride.
“He thinks he’s doing the right thing for the New Orleans Saints, and that’s his opinion. I disagree, but that’s just the way it is. I’ve worked tirelessly toward the success of the Saints for 11 years, and in the end, I continue to wish them the best. There are great people in that building,” he told The Times-Picayune.
ReiPrish has over 30 years of NFL experience, breaking into the NFL as a BLESTO scout in 1979. He worked with the Seattle Seahawks from 1984 to 1994 followed by an eight year stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He served as their director of player personnel from 1998 to 2002.
He is a native of Shamokin, Pennsylvania.
