Season 5, Episode 104 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd and I kick off this show by talking a little bit about how tough it is to thoroughly scout 100 plus players properly leading up to the draft. It’s sort of a rant, but more than anything else, a discussion about the process and how many of the major media guys only have so many hours in a day.
ESPN draft analysts Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay held their three round mock draft Thursday night so David and I go through round one pick-by-pick. In addition to that mock, we go back over David’s media mock from the other day and read a few of the suggestions that several of our listeners had. This all leads to us coming up with a little contest for the listeners.
We quickly recap a few things that NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock had to say Thursday during his media conference call and end the show by taking a much closer look at the pre-draft visitors that the Pittsburgh Steelers had in over the course of the last month and whether or not their future first-round selection made it to town.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
