The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently bringing players in for pre-draft visits and according to the National Football Post, Ohio State cornerback Doran Grant has already visited with the team.
The Thursday night report does not specify if Grant, who measures in at 5-10, 200-pounds, visited with the Steelers in Pittsburgh or at his Pro Day. The team is allowed 30 out of the area visitors prior to the 2015 NFL Draft.
Grant emerged as a play-making cornerback in 2013 as he made 58 total tackles with three interceptions and ten pass deflections. In 2014, the Akron, OH native allowed just 13-of-69 targeted passes (18.84%) to be completed against him and he intercepted five throws and deflected nine others. He also registered 63 total tackles for the Buckeyes in 2014.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert both attended the Ohio State Pro Day last month.
