Harold, who is easy to link to the Pittsburgh Steelers being as they’re almost certain to draft an outside linebacker in the 2015 NFL Draft, did 24 reps of 225 pounds on the bench Monday after choosing not to lift at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine.
Harold also reportedly participated in individual drills Monday and you would have to think that Steelers outside linebackers coach Joey Porter was in attendance to see that. There’s also a good chance that head coach Mike Tomlin was present at the Virginia Pro Day being as he hails from that area.
Harold measured in at the combine at just over 6’3″ and he weighed 247 pounds. He ran the 40-yard-dash in 4.60 seconds in Indianapolis and posted a 35″ vertical leap to go along with a 10’3″ broad jump.
The Steelers are also possibly looking at Virginia outside linebacker prospect Max Valles in addition to Harold. The underclassmen had 13 sacks and 18 tackles for loss in two seasons for the Cavaliers. He measured in at the combine at 6045 and weighed 251 pounds.
