Will free agent linebacker James Harrison be making a decision soon as to which team he will be playing for in 2015? Judging by a post he made Saturday on his Instagram account, it appears as if though that is indeed the case.
As you can clearly see, Harrison has an enormous amount of respect for former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, who is now in charge of running the Tennessee Titans defense along with Ray Horton. The Titans recently signed Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo to long-term contracts, however, so one would think that Harrison would be asked to play a backup role if he were to sign with Tennessee.
Should Harrison re-sign with the Steelers, however, you could make a good argument that he should start over either Jarvis Jones and Arthur Moats, or at the very least, be involved in a heavy rotation with both.
Both teams aren’t likely going to want to pay Harrison a ton of money for one year and in addition to that, one would think that the veteran linebacker would have a much better shot at winning another championship with the Steelers as opposed to with the Titans.
We shall see which direction God drives Harrison in and it sounds like he really is torn right now.
As of this past week, Harrison was out in Arizona training for the upcoming season.
