The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed one of their soon-to-be unrestricted free agents as long snapper Greg Warren has agreed to another one-year contract with the team.
Warren has been the Steelers long snapper for the last 10 seasons after originally being signed as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in 2005.
Warren has suffered torn ligaments in both of his knees during his career. Last year during training camp he suffered a torn meniscus in one of his knees but was able to overcome the injury in time for the start of the regular season.
Warren has not missed a game in the last five seasons. The one year deal is expected to be for the veteran league minimum with an $85,000 signing bonus.
