According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau is expected to be named assistant head coach of the Tennessee Titans next week.
Wyatt also reports that LeBeau will be in charge of the Titans defense and that Ray Horton will remain the defensive coordinator with team.
The news that LeBeau will be joining the Titans comes on the same day that he was honored by the city of Pittsburgh Tuesday with a official declaration that made February ‘Dick LeBeau Month.’
LeBeau, who resigned as the Steelers defensive coordinator after 11 seasons last month, will be reunited with Horton and Ken Whisenhunt in Tennessee. Horton was once the defensive backs with the Steelers while Whisenhunt served as the offensive coordinator for three years.
