The Pittsburgh Steelers expanded their new league year roster to 45 players Monday by signing seven players that ended the 2014 season on their practice squad to reserve/future contracts.
Signed were tight end Rob Blanchflower, cornerback Kevin Fogg, wide receiver C.J. Goodwin, defensive end Ethan Hemer, linebacker Howard Jones, defensive end Joe Kruger and tackle Alejandro Villanueva.
Blanchflower, Goodwin, Jones and Villanueva spent the entire 2014 season on the practice squad. Blanchflower was drafted by the Steelers in the seventh-round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Wide receiver Danny Coale, guard Ronald Patrick and running back LaDarius Perkins were the other three players that ended the season on the practice squad.
