In the Sunday win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown set a new franchise record for receiving yardage in a single season.
On his first catch of the game Sunday, a four-yard completion from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Brown broke his own single-season receiving yardage record that he set in 2013.
Last week, Brown broke Hines Ward’s single-season receptions franchise record and he entered Week 16 with 115 catches for 1,498 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Brown would go on to catch six more passes in the game Sunday and ended the day with 72 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Brown, a sixth-round draft pick out of Central Michigan in 2010, now has 122 catches on the season and that leaves him just one catch shy of tying Herman Moore for second-most in a season in NFL history.
