The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Kansas City Chiefs this coming Sunday at Heinz Field and it sounds like the team will be very healthy as they attempt to secure a playoff spot with a win.
According to Tuesday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin said tight end Matt Spaeth (elbow) and safety Mike Mitchell (groin) will have to be monitored closely this week after both suffered injuries during the win Sunday over the Atlanta Falcons. Spaeth hyper-extended his elbow while Mitchell strained a groin. Both players were able to finish that game, however.
Tomlin said he feels positive about the return of linebacker James Harrison (knee), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and cornerback Ike Taylor (shoulder, forearm) this week. All three players missed the game Sunday against the Falcons. Gilbert has missed three straight games with his ankle injury.

Lawrence Timmons and Troy Polamalu both missed limited time Sunday with minor injuries but neither were listed by Tomlin on Tuesday. The head coach did say, however, that a few players with minor bumps or bruises might be limited at the start of the week.
