With the 27-20 win Sunday over the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has now beaten all 31 other teams in the NFL at least once. He also set a new franchise single-season record for passing yards.
Roethlisberger now joins Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Kerry Collins, Peyton Manning and Brett Favre as the only quarterbacks to beat 31 different teams. Manning and Favre have both beaten all 32 teams.
Against the Falcons Roethlisberger was 27-of-35 passing for 360 yards. He was sacked only once in the game.
With his performance Sunday, Roethlisberger has now passed for 4,415 yards this season. That’s a new career-high for him as his previous best was in 2009 when he threw for 4,328 yards.
