Below is the passing chart for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger from the Week 13 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
As you can see, Roethlisberger only connected on two of his 11 attempts against the Saints that traveled more than 15 yards in the air past the line of scrimmage.
From 15 yards and in, Roethlisberger was accurate with his passes inside the numbers, but it’s important to remember that several of those throws came late in the game in garbage time.
Roethlisberger clearly struggled with his throws outside the numbers against the Saints and that’s normally an area of the field where he connects on passes thrown less than 15 yards.
The blue dots indicated completed passes, while the red dots indicate incomplete throws. The two yellow dots indicate the interceptions that Roethlisberger threw against the Saints.
