Pittsburgh Steelers safety Mike Mitchell has left the Thursday night game against the Carolina Panthers with an apparent injury.
Mitchell reportedly suffered a right leg injury and is listed as probable to return. The Steelers first team defense looks done for the night so it will be surprising if Mitchell plays the rest of the night.
Mitchell, who signed a five-year contract with the Steelers during the offseason, started Thursday night alongside Will Allen.
The Steelers currently trail the Panthers 3-0 in the second quarter.
