The Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday practice is now underway and several players are once again sitting out.
Linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee), nose tackle Steve McLendon (concussion), defensive end Cameron Heyward (unknown), wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey (concussion), tackle Ramon Foster (unknown), wide receiver Antonio Brown and safety Troy Polamalu (unknown) aren’t practice Thursday, according to Alex Kozora.
Heyward-Bey had returned to the field Wednesday, must have suffered some sort of setback with his concussion.
The Steelers, however, seem to have gotten linebacker Jarvis Jones (groin) back on the field once again. Also, tackle Marcus Gilbert (unknown) is back working after having to leave Wednesday’s practice early with what many believe was a foot injury.
This will be the Steelers final practice prior to them playing the New York Giants Saturday night in their 2014 preseason opener.
