The Pittsburgh Steelers currently have 88 players on their training camp roster and 87 of them were dressed in pads for the start of Tuesday’s practice.
The only player that isn’t looking like he will practice at all on Tuesday is linebacker Jarvis Jones (undisclosed).
Back after sitting out Monday’s session are tight end Matt Spaeth (undisclosed), tight end Michael Palmer (ankle) and safety Mike Mitchell (undisclosed). Linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee/leg) is also again in pads after returning to practice Monday on a limited basis.
Head coach Mike Tomlin stated after Monday’s practice that the team is looking good from a health standpoint and we all hope it remains that way with training camp set to break on Friday.
The Steelers will have two practice scrimmages against the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday and Thursday to close out their annual visit to Latrobe.
