The Pittsburgh Steelers signed kicker Shaun Suisham to contract extension several days ago and now we have the details of that deal.
According to Joel Corry, Suisham will reportedly earn base salaries of $855k, $2.595M, $2.4M, $2.4M and $2.4M from 2014-2018 and he apparently was given a $2.85 million signing bonus.
Because of the left over signing bonus money that Suisham had due on his last contract, his 2014 cap charge should be $1,762,500, according to the numbers Corry gave me. It was scheduled to be $1,425,000 before he signed the new deal.
