The numbers of the five-year contract extension signed earlier this week by Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Marcus Gilbert are now in.
The National Football Post reports that the six-year contract totals out at $30.815 million and included a $7.65 million signing bonus.
Gilbert’s non-guaranteed base salaries for years 2014-2019 are scheduled to be $650,000, $1.9 million, $3.95 million, $4 million, $4.05 million and $4.865 million. In addition, the Florida product can earn an annual $50,000 workout bonus starting in 2015 and a $3.5 million roster bonus due fifth day of 2015 league year.
