Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger 50-to-1 Odds To Win 2014 NFL MVP Award

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has already won the NFL MVP award five times during his career and current odds have him as the favorite to win it a sixth time in 2014.

According to the recently updated odds on the online sports betting website bovada.lv, Manning is now listed as 3/1 to win the MVP award in 2014 after previously being listed at 11/4.

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t had a player win the MVP award since quarterback Terry Bradshaw last accomplished the feat back in 1978. The betting public doesn’t believe quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will win it in 2014 as he is currently still listed at 50/1 odds. In fact, a total of 13 other quarterbacks currently have better odds than he does.

Another Steelers player, wide receiver Antonio Brown, is currently listed at 150/1 to win the award. If Brown were to accomplish that feat, he would be the first wide receiver to ever win the award.
