It looks like the tough times are continuing for guard Mike Golic Jr. as he was waived Monday by the New Orleans Saints.
Golic, who signed less than a month ago with the Saints, originally came into the league as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers last April. He is the son of former NFL defensive linemen and ESPN radio personality Mike Golic.
Despite sticking on the Steelers roster until the final round of cuts last year, Golic, a Notre Dame product, only received 13 snaps of playing time on the offensive line during the preseason finale against the Carolina Panthers. He was waived two days later.
