The Pittsburgh Steelers will hold their pre draft press conference on Monday at noon as general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin will field questions from the local media.
While the two certainly won’t answer any questions about individual prospects or draft strategy, they might shed a little light on current players already on the roster. A few players that I know I would like to hear about are linebacker Sean Spence and defensive end Nick Williams.
Spence is still attempting to battle back from the serious knee injury that he suffered during the 2012 pre season while Williams is still rehabbing from the surgery performed last October on his dislocated kneecap.
In addition to being asked to provide a few injury updates, I also wonder if Colbert and Tomlin will be asked about the possibility of the team re-signing defensive end Brett Keisel.
Last year, Colbert started off the pre draft press conference by reviewing the offseason moves that were made and I expect that to be the format once again. If you want to rewind back to last year, you can watch that press conference here.
