The LSU Pro Day is taking place on Wednesday and Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin are present for it, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
Colbert and Tomlin are really getting bang for their buck as offensive draft prospects Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Jeremy Hill and Zach Mettenberger are all on display.
The interest in Beckham and Landry is obvious as the Steelers are almost certain to draft a wide receiver in the first three rounds of the draft.
As far Mettenberger goes, if you believe the report made by Chris Bradford of the Beaver County Times several weeks ago, the Steelers have some level of interest in the LSU quarterback, who is still rehabbing a serious knee injury suffered last season.
The last time the Steelers drafted a player out of LSU was in 1998 when guard Alan Faneca was selected in the first round.
