According to Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest, the Pittsburgh Steelers are entertaining two more pre draft visitors on Wednesday as Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard and Notre Dame defensive end Stephon Tuitt are both in town.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert both attended the Pro Days of both Dennard and Tuitt. Dennard is considered by many to be the top cornerback in the draft class this year after registering four interceptions, 10 pass breakups, five quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles in 2013.
In 2013, Tuitt, who measured in at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine at 6054 and 304 pounds, was unable to work at his Pro Day due to recently having surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot.
In 13 games last season, Tuitt registered 49 total tackles of which nine were for losses. He also had 7.5 sacks on the season. Several believe that Tuitt is a first round prospect that would project as a defensive end in a 3-4 defense.
