According to a Monday report, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has worked some with UCF quarterback Blake Bortles during the pre draft process.
Bortles, who has drawn several comparisons to Roethlisberger over the last several months, is expected to be drafted in the top half of the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and several think that he could wind up being the first overall pick.
Being as Bortles is represented by Rep1 Sports, which also represents Roethlisberger, it’s probably not a big surprise that the two have worked some together during the offseason.
Bortles has reportedly been training this offseason at Velocity Sports Performance and that’s the same place that Roethlisberger trains at during the offseason.
Earlier in the offseason, it was reported that Roethlisberger was out in Southern California working alongside several draft prospects and there’s a good chance Bortles was one of them.
