A recent ESPN NFL Nation poll of more than 320 players resulted in Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll being chosen as the coach whom players would most like to play for.
Coming in second place, however, was Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin as he finished with 44 votes.
Despite having two back-to-back 8-8 seasons and not having a playoff win since the 2010 season, Tomlin remains a very popular coach. He knows how to relate to his players and how to work them at the same time.
Tomlin’s coaching ability was really tested last season and while you never want applaud for mediocrity, you have to tip your cap to him for being able to get the team to finish 6-2 in the final half of the season after starting it 2-6.
