Following the Pittsburgh Steelers 55-31 embarrassing loss Sunday to the New England Patriots, head coach Mike Tomlin quickly recapped the injury situation coming out of the game.
“From an injury standpoint, Vince Williams sustained a concussion as did Ike Taylor,” said Tomlin. “Those guys will be evaluated. Marcus Gilbert had a ankle injury.”
All of the injuries took place in the fourth quarter. Williams tweeted after the game that he is fine, so take that for what it is worth.
While Tomlin did not note it, I think Kelvin Beachum may have gotten dinged up late in the game as well.
The Steelers will next play the Buffalo Bills and Tomlin is scheduled to meet the media again on Tuesday.
