The Pittsburgh Steelers made an expected roster move Tuesday morning as cornerback Curtis Brown was placed on injured and cornerback Isaiah Green was promoted from the practice squad to fill his spot on the 53 man roster.
Brown tore the ACL in his left knee while covering a punt Sunday in the win over the Cleveland Browns. He will now undergo surgery over the course of the next week or two more than likely.
Green is no stranger to the 53 man roster as he has bounced back and forth from the practice squad all season. This time he might stick more than a week with Brown now out for the season.
The Steelers also brought back cornerback Devin Smith once again as well. Smith was signed on Tuesday to fill the open spot on the practice squad.
