The 4-6 Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the 4-6 Cleveland Browns this Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium and the first injury report for the week has now been released.
Not practicing for the Steelers on Wednesday were safety Shamarko Thomas (ankle) and defensive end Brett Keisel (foot). On Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin termed Thomas as doubtful for the game Sunday. Keisel is still battling plantar fasciitis and the hope is that he will be able to practice later on in the week.
Limited on Wednesday were guard Ramon Foster (ankle) , tight end Heath Miller (not injury related), linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring), center Fernando Velasco (knee) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (calf). Sylvester, like Thomas, was deemed doubtful on Tuesday by Tomlin. Both Foster and Woodley were unable to practice last week, so Thursday will likely be a big day for both in determining whether or not they will be able to play against the Browns.
Practicing fully on Wednesday were tackle Kelvin Beachum (hip) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot). Sanders left the game Sunday against the Detroit Lions in the second quarter after having his right foot stepped on, but expects to play this week.
