The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Saturday and it includes them bringing back a player that was recently waived.
Signed was tackle Mike Farrell, who was waived just a few days ago. To make room for Farrell the team waived cornerback Buddy Jackson, who they claimed off waivers a little over a week ago from the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jackson entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts. He was released during training camp and then joined the Washington Redskins for the final weeks of the 2012 season.
Farrell, an undrafted rookie out of Penn State, isn’t expected to make the final roster.
