While it is certainly subject to change, Mike Prisuta of DVE Radio reports Monday morning on Twitter that Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Le\’Veon Bell is scheduled to get the start tonight against the Washington Redskins.
During his Saturday press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin was noncommittal as to whether or not Bell would make his NFL debut Monday night being as he had aggravated the left knee bruise that forced him to miss the preseason opener against the New York Giants earlier in the week during practice.
Bell impressed the coaching staff during training camp and everyone is certainly anticipating him finally getting playing time in the preseason. Despite him going down this past week, Bell was able to return to practice the following day and said the injury was not as bad as most feared it was.
