The Arizona Cardinals once again have a former Pittsburgh Steelers player on their roster as they have claimed rookie undrafted free agent defensive end Cordian Hagans off waivers on Thursday.
Hagans was waived on Wednesday to make room for cornerback Devin Smith, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week.
The Steelers needed yet another cornerback because they were running even lower on healthy ones after Curtis Brown went down with an injured ankle on Monday. Brown has joined injured cornerbacks Cortez Allen, Terry Hawthorne and DeMarcus Van Dyke in the trainers room since the injury happened.
Hagans, who played his college ball at Louisiana-Lafayette, was signed immediately after the 2013 NFL Draft by the Steelers after going undrafted.
