The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Monday as the team has announced tight end Zack Pianalto has been waived injured and tight end Peter Tuitupou has been signed to take his place on the roster.
Pianalto was signed back in January by the Steelers when the team began expanding their roster for the offseason.
Tuitupou is an undrafted tight end out of San Jose State who had transferred from Utah. In 2012 he had nine catches for 154 yards.
UPDATE: Pianalto suffered a calf injury which resulted in him being waived injured.
