The Pittsburgh Steelers now have their entire 2013 draft class under contract as quarterback Landry Jones has signed his rookie contract, according to several reports.
Jones, the 115th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, played his college ball at Oklahoma where he threw for 16,646 yards and 123 touchdowns in 53 games played.
Jones is expected to be the Steelers third quarterback on the depth chart in 2013 behind starter Ben Roethlisberger and backup Bruce Gradkowski, who was signed as a free agent during the offseason.
Terms of the four-year contract have yet to be released but it is believed that Jones\’ deal will total out at around $2.606 million and include a signing bonus in the neighborhood of $446,000. I will pass along those firm numbers as soon as they are filed with the NFLPA.
