In this episode we focus on the several back end roster battles at defensive end, wide receiver, cornerback and fullback and get the thoughts of Mark on all of them. Has anyone pulled ahead in any of these battles? Not really. We also discuss the Wednesday news that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has small tear of the rotator cuff in his throwing arm. Kaboly tracked down the Steelers quarterback tonight and fills us in on what he said. In a nutshell this is much to do about nothing and Mark explains everything. Roethlisberger also stated on Wednesday that he thinks Mike Wallace will be along any day now, but Mark thinks it could still be a while, if not a long while.
We also get his opinion on both David DeCastro and Mike Adams so far in camp and Mark says don\’t be surprised if Ramon Foster is the week one starter at right guard. We also talk about the linebacker position and why the outside spots might be the biggest concern for the Steelers this year, especially if James Harrison or LaMarr Woodley miss any games like they did last season. Mark has a full story coming on this Sunday in the Trib, so be on the lookout for that.
As usual, Mark does not disappoint with his insight, and we are glad he took time to come on the show again with us.
